What is full funnel?
A full funnel strategy covers the whole customer journey: awareness, consideration, conversion and retention, planned as one system instead of separate campaigns fighting for budget.
The stages, honestly
- Awareness: being known before being needed. Video, social reach, DOOH, creators.
- Consideration: being shortlisted. Content that answers questions, retargeting that adds value, proof.
- Conversion: being chosen. Search, shopping, offers, frictionless landing pages.
- Retention: being chosen again. CRM, email, community, service.
Why funnels leak
Funnels leak where stages meet. Awareness that never gets retargeted, carts that never get followed up, buyers nobody speaks to again. Fragmented setups make it worse: when each stage belongs to a different partner with a different KPI, nobody owns the handovers, and the handovers are where the money disappears.
Why it matters
Bottom funnel budgets alone harvest demand without creating it, and they run dry. Top funnel alone builds fame that never converts. Running the funnel as one system, with creative and media aligned at every stage and measurement that sees the whole journey, is how attention becomes acquisition instead of evaporating along the way.
