What is CRM integration?
CRM integration links the system that holds your customers and deals, HubSpot, Salesforce, Odoo, an ERP, to Google Ads, Meta, GA4 and your reporting. Data flows both ways: closed deals and customer value go back to the platforms, and customer lists go out to build audiences.
Why it matters
Platforms optimise on what they can see. If they only see form submissions, they buy form submissions, including the ones that never answer the phone. Feed back qualified leads, signed contracts and lifetime value, and the same algorithm starts buying customers instead. For any business with a sales cycle, this is the difference between cheap leads and good ones.
What it enables
- Offline conversion import: the click that became a sale three weeks later is credited back to the campaign.
- Customer match and audience sync: suppress existing customers, build lookalikes from the best ones, retarget churn risk.
- Value based bidding: bid on expected revenue rather than on a flat conversion.
- Closed loop reporting: one view from first click to invoice, in the tool the business already trusts.
The honest view
The technical connection takes weeks. The organisational one often takes months, because sales data is messy and nobody owns the field that should carry the click ID. Start there. A clean pipeline with a stored GCLID is worth more than any bidding trick.
